I've been obsessed with football since I was a kid, and now I enjoy coaching it just as much as playing it. I'm a Football Australia AFC C Diploma coach based in Ocean Grove.
The first step on Football Australia's advanced coaching pathway, aligned with the Asian Football Confederation's Coaching Convention. It covers the technical side of the game in depth: passing and receiving, dribbling, striking the ball and defending, together with the principles of play and how to teach them.
Trained to respond if a player is hurt, so sessions are run with safety front of mind.
Holds a current Victorian Working With Children Check for coaching junior players.
I have played for over 20 years at various clubs in Victoria including Altona City, Melton Phoenix and Ocean Grove. I now have 8 years of coaching experience across multiple age groups (from U7 through to senior state league) and have been the club coach coordinator at Ocean Grove and now Barwon Heads Soccer Club.
I hold the Football Australia AFC C Diploma, which I completed in October 2026 after earlier gaining the Foundation of Football certificate through Football Victoria. The C Diploma is the first step on Football Australia's advanced coaching pathway, and it has sharpened how I teach technique, the principles of play and decision making.
I'm highly passionate about the game. Growing up I'd get up early on Sunday mornings to watch the English Premier League and Serie A highlights on SBS, head off to play for my club, then come home in the afternoon to watch SBS again, this time the NSL with Les Murray and On The Ball.
I'm dedicated to helping players develop technical skill, excellent decision making and a strong football IQ, in an extremely positive environment where players can learn stress free and without pressure, helping them excel as a player and a teammate.
